My experience with coaching was incredible. What I liked most about the process was that answers weren’t just given to me. Instead, Denise helped me work through my own ideas and consider my needs so that I could determine what next steps I needed to take.
During my coaching sessions I was guided through an analysis of my use of time, for example, and was able to see my strengths and weaknesses so that I could take action to make myself happier and more focused in my work. My two desired outcomes were things that I had thought about and talked about so many times before, but what was great about coaching was it held me accountable to make concrete changes, and helped me work towards getting where I wanted to be. It also forced me to reflect on changes I was making so that I could see what worked and what didn’t.
I also really liked that the coaching was flexible to meet my needs every week even though at times that meant discussing an issue that wasn’t directly related to my desired outcomes. |
