Parenting Class
The Parenting Class, Loving Your Tweens and Teens, underlying philosophy is based on Choice Theory by William Glasser, M.D.. Through Choice Theory parents learn to leave behind punishing and external control psychology in order to create healthier, sustainable relationships within the family. When choices are presented, dialogue opens-up, when control or force is used doors are shut. Create more opportunies for communication with your tween or teen by attending The Parenting Class.Parenting Class Curriculum...Consists of four 90 minute sessions which consist of:- An introduction to Choice Theory -- discover a freedom that comes when you stop punishing and rely on natural consequences.
- Inviting non-violent communication into your home through the language you use.
- Tools to incorporate respect, listening, understanding in your parenting

Client Testimonial
I have become very aware of the power of words. Dealing with a teenage boy is a very difficult thing to do for the most part. Denise has shown me that if things are just changed a little bit, it makes a huge difference in how my son responds and how I feel about the conversation. Lorri, Single Parent In Portland, OR
